I have been involved with the Virtual Corporation at Virginia Tech since
Spring 2000. (More information about Virtual Corporation can be found
here) My work with
VC has ranged from being a team leader to being the Chief Operating Officer
of the entire class. During the years, I have also worked on several projects
with the class with a major focus on the visualizations. Here are some
of the animations and movies that I have done or been a major worker on:

This
movie shows the two prototypes that have been built to show how the
PERTS technology works. (18 MB Quicktime Movie)
This
movie shows a visualization of how the PERTS system could be integrated
with the current highway system. (16 MB Quicktime Movie)
This
is a visualization of a possible Maglev type system that would go
around the Virginia Tech campus. (52 MB Quicktime Movie)
This
shows how the PERTS technology can be used to create an at home elevator.

In
addition to developing the above animations, I also created a web site to help
manage day to day activities of the class. This site is referred to as the Virtual
Corporation Intranet Site and is used by all the students in the class. From
this site, students can do everything from sign up for their team at the beginning
of the semester to submit their weekly status reports as well as submit reports
and presentations for grading. There are also administrative functions that
are used for the leadership to manage the class more effectively.
