Today I went over to the place where I selected my dress and got a chance to try it on after the alterations were made. It fits me like a charm, and except for a little more change that they need to do because they did not do the busstle correctly, it is all ready for the big day. I can not wait to show everyone how good it looks on me. I look forward to a great day in the very near future.

After a lot of work on the part of my Mother, a honeymoon destination has been set. Cindy and I will be flying off to Italy to enjoy the first week of our marriage. The plans are to spend three days in Sorrento and three days in Rome before returning home. This has been the top choice on our honeymoon destination list for a while now. We look forward to taking a lot of great pictures…

After thinking and debating the issue since we first got engaged, a date and location for the wedding has been nailed down. The wedding will be held on September 4th, 2005 at Nesselrod on the New in Radford Virginia. (here are some pictures we took there before.)

We want to thank everyone that has been involved in the decision making process, especially Cindy’s parents, in the endevor to pick the most optimal location and date… Now that we have a date, I am sure that a lot of the other issues will begin to fall into place…

Vonny was at home in California with his parents for the past month over Winter Break, but he did know what was going on with Cindy and myself. Today Cindy and I picked him up from the airport, on the way home we all stopped to get a bite to eat. Over dinner I asked him if he would be my Best Man, making him wait a little bit while we talking about various wedding related details… Finally asked him and his response was “YES!”, he had been waiting and hoping…

This is just one of many decisions that needs to be made about the wedding. It is always good to start getting them going…

Today, Cindy and I visited Nesselrod on the New. This is another possible location for the wedding/reception. It is a very nice place (it will look more lively in the summer when all the blooms are out). The location is in Radford.
