The internet is all about free speech, and what better way to express that than to put your opinions on the internet. Currently I am working on listing all the shows that I am currently watching on TV, Tivo’ing, or downloading. I am rating them myself and I am working on a way for other people who visit the site to rate the show also, I hope that it will be a way for everyone to find out about new shows and recomend other shows…
If you add a new show in the TV forum, then it will show up in the list of shows. So if there is something that you like that I have not listed, please feel free to add it. Please also take a minute to put a little information about the show…
Hope everyone enjoys…

Saturday was a day about sad events but also about family. Cindy and I traveled up to my parents house for the day to join the rest of the family in paying our respect to my Grandmother after her long fight to live. What is always a tough time for a family was elevated by our happy memories of Kitty.
Before the service, the family all sat down for a quick lunch together, which like every other meal consists of telling lots of jokes and getting everything laughing and having a good time… The service itself was in Rising Sun, MD performed by my mother’s sister Arlene. She did a great job helping the family think about not only the sadness of what happened but also what is to come.
Afterwards, everyone went back to my parent’s house to relax and eat. Once again Arlene came to the rescue with food for dinner, stuffed shells and some great desserts. Everyone got to sit around talking and catching up with each other. The funniest part of the evening was when we all sat down for dinner, which was a difficult feat because there were 16 people at the house all trying to sit down around a 4’x8’ table. It was almost easier to eat off the plate of the person next to you than it was to eat off your own plate, but what family doesn’t mind getting a little close…
Some Pictures…
As the evening came to a close, Cindy and I took a moment to give my father his birthday present, since we would not be around for his birthday. Then we finally took our leave and drove back down to Cindy’s Parent’s house.
So let me ask you, who on earth goes to Wal-Mart on a Saturday night at 11:00? We had to stop on the way home to pick up a few things, and Wal-Mart was packed. There should not be that many people there at that time of night…

After a long fight, my grandmother has finally been taken to a better place. She has not been doing well since her stroke in November, but she proved all the doctors wrong when they said that she would not last through the end of November…
The family gathered together for a small service where the family reminisced our memories of her. I have some pictures on my site of here located here. Her obit can be found here.
Even though she may be gone, she will not be forgotten…

For Christmas, Cindy and I got some developing equipment from Liz and Bill (well it was old equipment that Bill used to use)… Up until now, we did not have a chance to do anything with all the equipment, but that all changed this weekend. We did all the reading in books many times over again and on Friday we went out to the store to get some black and white film and all the chemicals needed to process the film.
So we immediately got the film and went to Tech Campus to take some pictures… So we took a roll of B&W pictures, and also we took some other digital pictures… That night we did not develope because we thought that we were missing some of the chemicals (later we found out that we were not) Saturday we got the other chemicals that we were looking for and that night we started the developing process.
This started by mixing the chemicals in the right proportions, which a chemical engineer like Cindy loves… After everything was all mixed up, I went into the bathroom took the film out of the cartrige and had Cindy start the timer when I put it in the chemicals. About 15 minutes later, we had out first roll of film developed. We let that dry for a while, but then I could not wait any more, I cut the film up like I am suppose to… We then decided that Sunday night we would try to get the film onto print paper…
Sunday we realized that the chemicals that we got for the paper developing were the wrong ones. The lady at the store told us that what she gave us was for the paper and we needed film developer, so that is what we had gotten. Then we read the packet we got at Ritz more carefully only to realize that it was for film also… So there we were with two sets of chemicals for processing film (luckily the second set was designed to be a single use so it was only a small bit…)
So here we are, we have a full set of negatives from our camera and all we can do is scan it in, which we have done… We are still hoping to make prints some time soon, but this week is going to be busy so it will probably not happen any time soon. We will keep you posted…

Today I received an e-mail from my brother:
To all,
We are happy to announce that Barrett-Learn is expanding. In fact, we are doubling the organization’s personnel. They will be available for consulation in October.
Love, Tracy & Michael
So far all I have is an ultra-sound of the baby, but I am sure that a lot more pictures will follow in the future…
