Today I went over to the place where I selected my dress and got a chance to try it on after the alterations were made. It fits me like a charm, and except for a little more change that they need to do because they did not do the busstle correctly, it is all ready for the big day. I can not wait to show everyone how good it looks on me. I look forward to a great day in the very near future.

I found this site that offers a virtual Lite Brite that you can play with on-line. I started playing with it, and it is a lot of fun, go check it out yourself. The site is here

I just do not know what I would do without google, I would not have anything to do at work. To commemorate the anniversary the landing of man on the moon, they have a new site, moon.google.com. This site allows you to see a maps.google.com type map of the moon marking the various landing sites on the moon. They just need to integrate this with their 3d earth viewing software.
Cindy also found a link to a site that talks about creating your own movie of the google earth software. The instructions can be found here.
I can not wait to find more google fun stuff. I even have my own custom map for the wedding details, found here

This weekend, cindy and I went up to my parents house for a long weekend of various parties. First of which was a baby shower for my brother and his wife, even though she was not able to attend. At the same time, they decided to celebrate my birthday. If you ask Cindy, the best part of the day was the cake that they got for me and my brother. The cakes came from Cold Stones, which is something that Cindy loves!
On Sunday, we went to my Sister’s church to join the rest of the family for Alex’s baptism. This was a great time for the family to get together to spend some time reflecting on our religious views. After the ceremony, we went back to my sister’s house to have some food and spend some more time just enjoying time together.
Look forward to me posting some pictures from the weekend sometime soon…

This is a Animatronic squirrel that works with your cell phone to let you know that you have a phone call.
Current mobile communication devices do not grab our attention in a socially appropriate way. They could be disrespectful of ongoing social activity such as an important meeting or private dinner. To improve on this, I have built the Cellular Squirrel, a system where the agent that controls my cellphone is embodied in a small portable animatronic device, as a personal ‘companion’ for the user. This embodiment is able to use the same subtle but still public non-verbal cues to get our attention and interrupt us like humans would do (like eye gaze and small gestures), instead of ringing or vibration. The user can whisper and listen to her squirrel, receiving and replying to voice instant messages.
This is just another one of those silly devices, but it is an interesting concept…
Link to the site here.
