Matt and I went to have another Level 2 Ultra sound today of Little Baby Learn. Matt tried to get the whole thing on video, but the tech put a damper on that idea, we thought that it would be cool to have video of the pictures along with audio of the tech describing what was being seen, oh well… At least they gave us a CD with the images though. She even switched it into 3D mode so we could really see the baby!!! Weighs about 1 lb, 6 oz right now and is approx. 8 inches long “crown to rump”. I think he has my dad’s & my nose based on the first 2 3D images (picture #3 and #4), this could always just be something in the ultrasound. Of course the technology isn’t as good as seeing him in person, but it’s pretty cool none-the-less. There was one instance of the hands and feet pushing on the sensor like “hey!”, which made me laugh! And yes, it’s still a boy

Another neighbor, Melanie, hired us to photograph her father’s surprise birthday party. A true leap year baby, he turned “15″ (well, 60 really) and it demanded a big celebration. Their extended family hasn’t had a nice family portrait taken of them since the newest additions were born, so this was a good opportunity as they were all dressed up Barry was truly surprised… he thought he was being dragged to a wedding at the Hilton Hotel! Although they hired a band, Barry stepped up to the plate and performed quite a few songs for us on the drum set too.

I skipped posting about Gabriel’s 7 month pictures, so this counts as the post to view his 7 and 8 month photos… And it’s already time to take his 9 month pictures again! While you’re at it, why don’t you check out all of his monthly pictures we have done thus far. So please check back in a few weeks for the 9 month photos… Hopefully we can think of something Easter oriented for the next ones
