Check out the pictures from Learn Studios’ most recent wedding gig. I knew the bride from college, through our campus ministry “CCVT” and we have kept in touch via Facebook recently. When I found out she was engaged, of course I provided our congratulations, but I also offered our photography services. What a pleasant surprise when they decided to hire us! Knowing I would be 8 months pregnant, we asked our trusty 3rd photographer Chris to help us out (in case I couldn’t be on my feet for 4+ hrs). Since it was Memorial Day weekend anyway, and the wedding was in Chesapeake, VA (near VA Beach), we made it a family affair with Chris’ family and Matt’s parents. It was a beautiful wedding, beautiful weather, and fun weekend!!

I really can’t believe I’m putting these up here… It’s an act of selflessness I guess, as everyone but me wants to see what we (baby and I) look like! These were taken at 34 weeks along, where baby is supposed to be the size of a “medium pumpkin”, approximately 19.5-20″ long, and roughly 5 lbs. Thing is, at 32 weeks I was told he was around 4lbs, 15oz (just shy of 5 lbs) and babies gain 1/2 lbs per week from 32 weeks on! So you do that math… The great thing is that 99% of babies born at 35 weeks (June 8 for me) survive without too much difficulty, so he can really come at any time! Do you hear that baby, ANY TIME NOW, haha!
